The book and DVD “Mācīsimies slēpot!” (Latvian version) and the book “Let us learn skiing!” (English version) are worked out for comprehensive school teachers, coaches, their trainees and all people, interested in learning the basics of cross country skiing. The book and DVD “Mācīsimies slēpot!” (Latvian version) are published in 2007 with the support of:

· Committee of Education, Youngsters and Sport of Riga Council;
· Latvian Ski Association;
· Coca-Cola HBC Latvia.

The book “Let us learn skiing!” (English version) is published with the support of:

· Latvian Ski Association.

English version readers are provided with an opportunity to watch the ways of moving in cross-country skiing in Latvian DVD version, in which textual information and illustrations are supplemented with video camera icon.
